Description

La Belle Époque, an original narrative ballet created for Ballet Central 2016. Inspired by the true life story of Jane Avril, the great star of Paris’ Montmartre district at a time known as La Belle Époque. The work follows Avril’s rise and eventual fall from grace, echoing the legend of Faust in an increasingly relevance commentary on the price of fame.
